The terms — please read before acting on anything here.
Bitinforming is editorial research and software, not financial advice. Nothing on this site is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security. The numbers on the strategy and track-record pages are hypothetical — no real positions are held. If you make investment decisions, make them with a licensed professional and your own research, not based on what you read here.

01No financial advice, no fiduciary relationship
Bitinforming is operated by an individual publisher. The operator is not a registered investment adviser under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, is not a broker-dealer registered with FINRA or the SEC, is not a commodity trading advisor registered with the CFTC or NFA, and is not licensed to provide individualized financial, legal, or tax advice in any jurisdiction.
Reading this site, subscribing to the email digest, listening to the audio briefing, or clicking through to a broker does not create a fiduciary, agency, advisory, or any other professional relationship between you and the operator. Anything that looks like a "pick," "recommendation," "call," or "signal" is journalism, commentary, and software output — not personalized advice. Your financial situation, risk tolerance, time horizon, and tax position are unknown to the operator and have not been considered.
Consult a licensed professional before making any investment decision.
02Hypothetical performance disclosure
The "Strategy" page, the "Track Record" page, the "What If" calculator, and the per-ticker mention statistics all reflect hypothetical, simulated trading using historical close-to-close prices. No real money is or has been deployed. No positions are or have been actually held.
The following disclosure, required by the National Futures Association under NFA Rule 2-29(c)(6) and analogous to SEC guidance on simulated performance, applies to every quantitative result on this site:
Hypothetical performance — required disclosure Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, because the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity, slippage, bid-ask spreads, commissions, taxes, market impact of large orders, or the psychological pressures of real trading. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
Past performance does not predict future results. A signal that historically generated positive returns may fail tomorrow. A strategy that beat SPY over one window may underperform over the next. The sample sizes on this site are small (the project is recent), and small-sample results are not statistically meaningful.
03Risk of loss
All trading and investing involves risk, including the permanent loss of principal. Past performance, real or simulated, is not indicative of future results. Concentrated positions, leveraged positions, options, and small-cap or OTC securities involve elevated risk. Securities mentioned here may be illiquid, delisted, halted, or otherwise become untradeable.
You alone are responsible for your investment decisions and the financial consequences of those decisions. Do not invest money you cannot afford to lose.
04Do your own research; independent verification
The information on this site is derived from public sources (arXiv, Google Patents, yfinance, Google Trends, public company filings) and is aggregated, ranked, and editorialized by automated pipelines and the operator's judgment. Errors are inevitable — in data ingestion, in keyword-to-ticker mapping, in summarization, in narration. Verify every fact with primary sources before acting.
If a paper, patent, or filing appears here, the underlying link is provided so you can read it yourself. The operator's interpretation is not a substitute for your own.
05No solicitation or offer
Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, futures contract, option, or other financial instrument. No specific recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or trade any asset is being made to you, individually or as a member of any group. Any mention of a ticker, company, sector, or strategy is for informational and educational purposes only.
06Forward-looking statements
This site contains statements that may be characterized as "forward-looking" — projections, theses, anticipated outcomes, expected behaviors of markets, or commentary about what a signal "suggests." These statements reflect the operator's opinion at the time of writing based on then-available public information. They are inherently uncertain, may be wrong, and may not be updated as conditions change.
07Data sources and accuracy
Prices, market data, and historical returns are sourced from yfinance, which in turn sources from Yahoo Finance and other providers. Such data may be delayed, contain errors, or be unavailable for certain symbols (especially delisted, foreign, or OTC issues). Research metadata is sourced from arXiv's public API and Google Patents' public search interface. The operator does not warrant the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of any data displayed.
Macroeconomic data (SPY, QQQ, VIX, 10-year yield) is end-of-day and not real-time.
08Affiliate disclosure
Some links from this site to third-party brokers (for example, "Open in Public.com," "Open in Webull," "Open in Moomoo," or "Open in Tradier") may be affiliate links. If you sign up for an account through such a link and meet the third party's funding or trading thresholds, the operator may receive a referral payment. This does not change the price you pay, and it does not influence what is published on this site. The operator's selection of which brokers to link is editorial and may change over time.
Links to non-affiliate destinations (E*TRADE, Finviz, Google News, arXiv, Google Patents, TradingView) are provided as a convenience and the operator receives no compensation for them.
09Privacy & data we collect

10No warranty
The site, the data, the strategy backtests, the audio narration, the API outputs, and all derived content are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability. Use at your own risk.
11Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of Bitinforming shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages — including but not limited to lost profits, lost trading opportunities, lost goodwill, or data loss — arising out of or in connection with your access to, use of, or reliance on this site or its content, regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, statute, or otherwise) and whether or not the operator was advised of the possibility of such damages.
If, despite the above, the operator is found liable, the total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you have paid to the operator in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) US $50.
12Copyright & intellectual property

Quoted paper titles, patent titles, and short excerpts are reproduced under fair use for purposes of commentary and criticism, with attribution to the source via a direct link. If you are the rights holder of any quoted material and believe its use here exceeds fair use, see contact.

13Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's home jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. By using this site, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any disputes arising out of or related to the site. If you access the site from a jurisdiction where any of this content is unlawful, you do so at your own risk and you are responsible for complying with your local laws.
14Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated at any time without prior notice. The "last updated" date below reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes (definitions, liability limits, dispute resolution) will be noted with a banner on the homepage for at least 30 days.
